Emma Stone went in a sheer, speckled look last night for the New York premiere of her new film, Kinds of Kindness, where she walked the red carpet in a design from the Louis Vuitton 2025 resort collection.
The breezy black dress included a high neck and a slit in the middle, as well as a skirt and sheer sleeves that showed off the actress’ toned body.
Stone kept the rest of the look fairly simple, adding coordinating black sandals and multiple diamond studs from Walters Faith, adding subtle sparkle.
The “La La Land” star let her dark brown hair down and then pulled it back, showing off her dazzling accessories.
As for makeup, artist Rachel Goodwin stuck to pink, adding berry blush and a bright pink lip, which stood out against Stone’s dark ensemble.
Stone arrived at the event accompanied by her husband, Dave McCary, who completed her elegant look with a sharp gray suit. The star later appeared alongside members of the “Kinds of Kindness” cast, including Margaret Qualley, who wore a strapless white dress.
Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Poor Things,” Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe and Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn also star.
Some fans expressed their admiration for the look, comment On Check The Tag’s Instagram page, “Bravo!” βThis is unique and suits her despite her unusually frequent LV failures. This wins.”
A third said: “I really appreciate her newfound boldness in her choices πππ.”
It’s no surprise that the actress chose to wear Louis Vuitton for her big night. Stone is an ambassador for the fashion house and often highlights the brand on red carpets. Most recently, she wore a mint green peplum dress to the 2024 Academy Awards earlier this year β but she had a small wardrobe malfunction at the awards show.
While jumping up and down, dancing to a rendition of Ryan Gosling’s “Barbie,” Stone’s zipper broke, prompting her to issue a disclaimer when accepting the Best Actress award.
“My dress is broken; I think it happened during ‘I’m Just Kane,'” she joked on stage, trying to secure the ice-coloured design.
“Kinds of Kindness” is in theaters starting today.
