Features and specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6
According to previous leaks and reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 contain a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a random access memory (RAM) with a capacity of 8 GB / 12 GB and a storage space of 256 GB / 512 GB. While the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has 12 GB RAM and 256 GB / 512 GB / 1 TB storage space. Both devices will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 software and Galaxy AI features.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is said to have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 could have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera (3x optical zoom). Both phones appear to have a 10-megapixel selfie camera (4-megapixel on the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s inner display).
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is said to be powered by a 4,400 mAh battery. Both phones could have GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Both can have 25W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
Samsung can promise to offer its upcoming foldable phones seven years of Android operating system and security updates. Both phones are likely to get an IPX8 water resistance rating.
