Galaxy Z Flip 6 specs confirmed in new leak

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is said to measure 165 x 71.7 x 7.4mm, making it slightly more robust than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 (165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9mm).

Furthermore, the leaker claims that the upcoming foldable phone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and 35W fast charging. But before you get your hopes up, we think the 35W fast charging number might be wrong. We believe it’s 25W fast charging.

The new processor is expected to give the phone more processing power, which will come in handy for gaming and AI tasks. The higher RAM may be necessary for the more advanced Galaxy AI features that Samsung may unveil at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10.

The phone’s 50MP primary camera is supposed to offer 2x optical zoom for close-ups and portraits.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is likely to run Android 14 with One UI 6.1.1 out of the box with the new Galaxy AI and regular features. Given Samsung’s track record, the company can promise to deliver major Android OS updates and security updates to the phone for seven years.

The phone is also expected to feature an IPX8 rating, stereo speakers, Samsung Pay, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
